Building Controls

Our engineers and programmers know our products inside and out, and we understand how each change effects equipment the system as a whole. Learn More

Systems Integration

One of the challenges of working with a building system is that there are so many controls products out there and they don't always talk to each other. Learn More

Lighting Controls and Retrofits

A major portion of any facility's operating budget is electrical cost and a large part of that cost is lighting. Learn More

Thermal Imaging

A major portion of any facility's operating budget is electrical cost and a large part of that cost is lighting. In partnership with WattStopper, Delta Building Technologies can design a lighting control system that can operate stand-alone or integrate into a total building automation system. Learn More

Web-Based User Interface

Our controls group can create a rich graphical web portal for your building controls system. Using this interface, you can manage entire campuses of buildings, and all the equipment in each one. Learn More

Awards & Recognition

“Excellence in Engineering Award 2003” from Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE

Loyola University Variable Primary Chilled Water Loop

Energy saving project that involved converting the campus-wide chilled water plan to a variable primary flow system. This resulted in over $100K in energy savings per year and eliminated the need for capital investment in additional equipment.

“Excellence in Engineering Award 2003” from Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE

1230 N. State Parkway Upgrade

Energy saving project that involved an innovative design and new high-efficiency equipment to replace the old equipment. The control system involved controlling the new high efficiency boilers, chiller and make-up air ventilation to improve comfort and reduce energy consumption.

“Excellence in Engineering Award 2004” from Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE

777 Michigan Avenue Ventilation Replacement

Energy saving project that involved an innovative design and new high-efficiency equipment to replace the old equipment. Part of the innovative design approach was to use waste heat from the toilet and kitchen exhaust fans to pre-heat corridor make-up air. The result is that the make-up air system doesn't use the boiler water until the outside air temperature is below 45 deg_f. The control system involved controlling the building pressure to reduce infiltration, varying airflow with demand for energy efficiency, reclaiming exhaust energy to reduce losses, and reducing humidity levels for improved comfort and indoor air quality.

LEED Certification Gold from US Green Building Council

Will County Forest Preserve New Administration Building

This new construction building includes a pressurized under floor variable air volume design, photo voltaic solar cells and a Delta Web enabled graphical user interface that allows occupants to monitor and adjust comfort control via Virtual Thermostattm on the desktop PC’s or via wireless PDA’s and cell phones.
